As you may have noticed, I have been absent for a couple of weeks and this is due to the ridiculously long cold I have been battling through the beginning of the new year. But now, I am back in full force with a lot of new bits for this year and a couple of surprises I have been planning.
To start this new year, I want to show you my favourite lipsticks I've been sporting during this winter season. Here are my 6 picks for the season :

6- L'Oréal Infallible Persistent Plum #737

The YSL lipstick has the most amazing formula, it is so smooth and remains on the lips a pretty long time. I found this color while reading a magazine where it was mentioned that this is Kourtney Kardashian's go-to red lipstick. Since I have a similar skin tone I decided to try it and fell in love !
Revlon, oh Revlon ! If you want a good drug store lipstick, Revlon is the way to go. They have an amazing color selection and amazing color pay-off, you won't regret taking a glance at their counter.
Not much to say about MAC lipstick, yes they are a little drying on the lips, but with a good lip moisturiser, I think you can pull it off, they have such a good color selection, a color for every taste.
Also, I found this Dior lipstick thanks to my lovely friend and cosmetician, she told me it was the perfect everyday lip and she was right.
Finally, I found this L'Oréal lipstick by pure luck and fell in love with the color, the perfect burgundy lips, this lipstick has a really good staying power, definitely worth a try.

ReplyDeleteKat, you need to check out the YSL, I did not like the Rouge Volupte texture and so I went to Sephora and I tried this line of YSL lipstick the Rouge Couture and I had the lipstick on my lips during my whole shopping trip and it did not dry my lips at all. Especially this color, I think you cannot find it in other brands, its a pure beauty xoxo

Ooo interesting post! I also have the Revlon Black Cherry but for some reason, it applies really blotchy :( Usually I'm so impressed with Revlon! Maybe because the colour is dark... goes on kinda messy?
