My Kiehl's SkinCare Bits

Last September, I decided to explore the world of Kiehl's skincare, a line that is derived from natural ingredients. Who can say no to natural products ? I must admit I am very sceptic about changing out my skincare regimen but when the cold winter hits us in Canada, a change is to be made. 

1- Kiehl's Soy Milk & honey Whipped Body Butter - The very first product I tried from the Kiehl's brand and one I will surely repurchase over and over again is the Creme de Corps. This cream gives you the most nourished, well-hydrated skin without the slipperiness of other creams. Dont' you just hate it when you apply a cream to your legs right before you leave for a night out and you can't cross your legs because they keep on sliding. 

Well, this Kiehl's Creme de Corps does not do that and it smells of vacation without it being too overbearing. 

2- Kiehl's Skin Rescuer - This product has been my skin's best friend for the past 3 weeks. The minute that cold weather hits your face you just want to apply a creme that will moisturize and fight the tightness the dry weather installs on your skin. I apply the Kiehl's Skin Rescuer right after the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate and in the morning, my skin feels so plump and well-nourished. Also, this cream is said to reduce the sign of stress, a perfect match to those long end of semester hours that can affect your skin's appearance. 

3- Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate - I must admit, a year ago, I was sceptic of the functionality of a serum but today, I can say that my skin really demands it whether we are in summer or winter. The minute you apply the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate you instantly feel like you have stepped foot in a spa. The smell of the lavender immediately installs calmness and also helps reduce the redness on your skin. This serum is a definite try next time you visit a Kiehl's store. 

4- Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Eye Cream - Once again, not everyone is open to the idea of applying an eye cream, Personally, I use them to reduce the puffiness I can have under my eyes after a long week or a long day. This Kielh's Midnight Recovery Cream does exactly that, on top of reducing fine lines. I cannot comment on the fine lines situation but I can definitely say that if this Eye Cream is used constantly you will see a difference in the puffiness of your eyes. I certainly did ! 

5- Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream - This cream is said to be used as a day cream to help prevent signs of aging. As many of you know, I am not there yet (hope not!). Unfortunately, this cream was a bit too much for my oily skin but I've been using it in my nighttime routine on regular nights and I saw a difference in the texture of my skin after a couple of weeks of using it. It's definitely a go for a more mature skin but it really helped my skin and gave it a greater appearance and a better complexion. 

What I love about Kiehl's is the apothecary feel they have kept over the years. When you enter a Kiehl's store, the employees are dressed in lab coats and are very attentive to the details you provide them on the condition of you skin. Make sure to visit a store next time you are around and don't hesitate to ask for samples of the products you want to try, they are very generous.
