This trio of cleansers really make it work for me and my skincare regimen. All three of them answer to my problems that change from week to week, from little blemishes, to oily skin, to lazy evenings and finally, to quick mornings.
First off, is my gold medalist of the gang, the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm. Let me be honest, I was very very intrigued of the whole cleansing balm phenomenon and at the same time very nervous, because I had no idea when or how to use them. Before splurging on a more expensive cleansing balm that has been all the rage across the pond in the UK, I decided to visit my options here at home. I cam across the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm and oh boy was I the happiest girl at Sephora that day. As I have mentioned before, I am a bit of a lazy person and I always try to make my life easier and this Cleansing Balm clearly did the job. The way a cleansing balm works is that you have to massage the balm in your hands, then on a dry face and the oil that is formed breaks down the makeup or the dirt on your face. I use this bad boy even on a full-face of makeup as a makeup remover and then once again for a good cleanse, in a matter of 5 minutes I am done with both chores. The Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm leaves your skin looking so clean and feeling so soft. I have been using it for a couple of months and my skin has been loving it, I really think it's seriously something that I will always have in my skincare basket.
Marcelle came out with a new cleanser a couple of months ago, the Marcelle Ultra Gentle Cleansing Gel and it has quickly become a favorite in my household. Basically, this cleanser has been sitting on my bathroom vanity for a couple of weeks now and my whole family has been secretly using it daily, which I don't mind because the more the merrier. In all honesty, I think the main user has been my dad ! I use the Marcelle Ultra Gentle Cleansing Gel every morning for a little pick me up or to wash off the thick creams or treatments I applied during the night. I read in a lot of articles that you are not suppose to stripe you skin in the morning with a harsh cleanser because it removes the natural oil your skin has created during the night. The Marcelle Ultra Gentle Cleansing Gel does the job and what I love the most is that it is odourless and has the texture of a lotion, which moisturizes you skin in the morning.

Last but certainly not least, the Vichy Normaderm Deep Purifying Cleansing Gel is an oldy but a real goody. I have using this cleanser on and off for the past 6 years and it creates wonders for my skin. Vichy Normaderm Deep Purifying Cleansing Gel is targeted for blemish prone skin or problem skin, but we all know that during that time of the month, we all pretty much have a problem with our skin. The Vichy Normaderm Deep Purifying Cleansing Gel enters my regimen the week before and the week after as my nighttime cleanser with my one and only Clarisonic. I feel like this cleanser unclogs my pores and leaves me with a nice even looking skin with no huge blemishes or irritations.
