Thierry Mugler Alien Eau Extraordinaire

Did you know that in 2011 Alien from Thierry Mugler was the 8th best selling perfume in Europe ?! 

Every 7 seconds, 1 bottle of Alien is being refilled in the world ! 

So it was only obvious that Thierry Mugler would continue the trend and launch a new Alien perfume, this time the Alien Eau Extraordinaire.

Alien Eau Extraordinaire follows the same vibe of light from the Alien perfume (white amber and cashmeran wood) but with a touch of different notes such as bergamot, neroli, tiare flower and heliotrope.

Here is an explanation on the though process for the creation of Alien Eau Extraordinaire from Christophe de Lataillade, Creative Director, Thierry Mugler Perfumes.

“To continue the story of Alien, we imagined the follow-up to the previous visual: it is the awakening of the Goddess to solar light, like a renaissance through the sun, source of life on earth. She receives this light and, in turn, diffuses it. This is the image of the goddess-statue who becomes a woman; her heart begins to beat in symbiosis with the light. She is more accessible, more feminine.” 

Alien Eau Extraordinaire is a concoction of 3 floral revelations : 

1- A luminous floral revelation 

2- An incandescent woody revelation

3- A benevolent amber revelation

This Thierry Mugler event was so well put-together and so posh, but the detail I enjoyed the most is the fact that we could taste a tea related to one of the perfume's revelations after the presentation, a nice intricate touch from Thierry Mugler.

Alien Eau Extraordinaire from Thierry Mugler will hit stores at the end of April and you could get your hands on it at Hudson's Bay, Jean Coutu, Sephora and Pharmaprix.
