It's been awhile since I posted a Foodie Friday post on the blog and I'll be honest, we've been so busy that when we eat out, we usually take it to go and work at the same time. However, last month, we had the opportunity to test out the menu at Pandore in Montreal, for one of their "Sneak & Chic" evenings, so we made it a mandatory date night, no work talk. Not gonna lie, I find it hard these days to find a good restaurant in Montreal that turns into a nightclub after supper, where you can really enjoy good quality food and a fun night dancing. To be honest, around 11pm, I start yawning and its past my bedtime but from time to time I love to go out and dance the night away. However, I find in Montreal, most of the clubs where you could go dancing have a very very young crowd. Pandore is quite the opposite. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the menu and the vibe of the restaurant. Pandore is a restaurant situated in the Quartier des spectacles where you have an amazing view on Montreal. Around 10pm on Fridays, the restaurant turns into a cabaret style "Sneak & Chic" night, where there's a live band but not just any live band, a live band that plays some R'n'B jams, right up my alley. Every week a new singer takes the stage and gives the restaurant an instant amazing ambiance. Honestly, we are already planning a group outing with our friends after the holidays because I feel like it really fits our vibe. Pandore offers great food, a cool vibe; in short, an amazing all-around experience!
Et oui, ça fait un petit bout que je n'ai pas partagé avec vous un article Foodie Friday. Je vais être honnête avec vous, nous ne mangeons plus beaucoup dehors et lorsqu'on décide de manger au restaurant, on le prend pour emporter, car nous devons travailler. Par contre, le mois dernier, nous avons été invité à déguster le menu du Pandore lors d'une de leur soirée "Sneak & Chic", alors, c'était une soirée d'amoureux dans l'agenda. Sincèrement, de nos jours, je trouve qu'il est très difficile de trouver un bon restaurant à Montréal qui se transforme en boîte de nuit après le souper, où il est possible d'obtenir de la bonne nourriture de qualité et une bonne ambiance. Entre vous et moi, à partir de 23hrs, je commence déjà à bâiller, mais de temps en temps, j'adore sortir et danser toute la nuit. Cependant, je trouve qu'à Montréal, la plupart des clubs accueille une clientèle très très jeune et ce n'est pas nécessairement très attirant pour des gens dans la fin vingtaine. Pandore est tout à fait le contraire. Nous avons été très agréablement surpris par la qualité du menu et l'ambiance du restaurant. Pandore est un restaurant situé dans le Quartier des spectacles où vous avez une vue imprenable sur Montréal. Autour de 22 heures le vendredi, le restaurant se transforme en un cabaret "Sneak & Chic", où on y retrouve un live band, mais pas n'importe quel live band, un band qui joue du R'n'B. Chaque vendredi, un nouveau chanteur prend la scène et donne au restaurant une ambiance incroyable. Honnêtement, nous prévoyons déjà une sortie de groupe avec nos amis après les vacances des fêtes, car nous avons vraiment senti que ce restaurant offrait quelque chose de différent et qu'il réussi à créer une ambiance originale. Bref, une très belle expérience!
